This site has been moved from Demon to Freeserve in August 2000. It has then been pretty much abandoned
except for the occasional update to the For Sale pages.
It's not my fault... I never seem to get the time any more.
The list below will take you where you want to go.
There is a section providing a resource for Science Fiction book critique,
and a section about me and what I get up to. Thirdly, some humour picked up
from wherever I can find it.
A shortcut to the Linux pages has been placed here also.
Yeahhh. These Linux pages need a major overhaul.
I had such bright ideas for them, tables detailing equivalent software between linux, acorn and PC.
...and lots more stuff like that.
I can sum it all up in a nutshell really. Linux is not yet ready to replace MS windows,
(Or Acorn or MAC) as a desktop OS. It is really good as a server OS. I now have it running on
2 boxes in my home. A firewall gateway and a file/print/game/intranet server.
(It also seems to be doing rather well at serving webpages and files for seriously large companies)
